Set within a natural harbor, the Port of Galle is located on the South-Western coast of Sri Lanka. It is a mere 1 – 2 hour deviation from the main East-West shipping route and handles approximately 700 OPL operations a month. It acts one of the most active regional ports in the country while being the only Sri Lankan port that provides facilities for pleasure yachts. Approximately 20 – 30 vessels (per day) call at Galle OPL which has four berths and 660 meters of quay. This port is primarily used for leisure activities and services.
